My first trip to Scotland was as part of a shoot where I was art directing. For the shoot Land Rover had arranged for an Evoque for us to use so naturally I took the opportunity to take some images of the car against the spectacular backdrop of Glencoe and the Scottish Highlands.

“The spectacular backdrop of Glencoe was the perfect location for the Evoque.”
For this shoot I used natural light only. I had my camera, tripod and a circular polarising filter. For the static shots I took multiple exposures using rotations of the CPL in order to get perfect results on every panel of the car and the glass too. The spectacular backdrop of Glencoe was the perfect location for the Evoque. For the tracking shot I was shooting from the back of another Land Rover with the split tailgate open using my 24-70mm lens and matching shutter speed to road speed in order to achieve blur on the road but keep the car sharp.
